James Lee

James first career was initially as an Engineer and later as the Principal of a firm of Architects, Engineers and Town Planners for over 20 years, involving the design and execution of a large number of private and public buildings and works.

Upon relocation to Sydney, James decided to change his career  and undertook legal studies in 1980, whilst completing his overseas building projects.

James established his own legal practice in 1984. During his career as a lawyer James has been personally involved in a number of sizeable commercial matters such as acquisitions of shopping centres, office premises and mineral resource projects; advising on development projects form inception to completion; construction disputes and resolutions; securitisation and financial transactions relating to property developments for both residential and commercial buildings and commercial litigations up to High Court of Australia, the highest jurisdiction in the land.
Having lived a full and successful life, James passed away in 2016 and now oversees his colleagues from a higher place.
